These aren't new db's being developed in 8...they've been the back bone of our company since R5. There are NO x pages or anything out of the ordinary.
And, yes, I think I can read what it's saying..."compiling script".
I seriously think you guys are way too happy and content with your designer for this release...I just did a right click and open database in designer on a simple email file. Want to know what it opened in a the design pane? No, not the database I requested to open until 30 seconds had gone by...and I'm being generous.
I'm tired of all this...really. It's like all you want to do is say, "Well, that's not what we expect, or that's not what we see, or are you sure you're doing this that or the other thing." It's getting old...that's all I get from calling IBM support.
For a change...get together with Ed Brill, Doug Comny and anyone else who really is interested in finding out how the real end users operate and give me a call to schedule a time.
Call the main number on www.ttpartners.com and ask for Steve Castellion and we can schedule a time to do a webex or whatever it is going to take to be finally taken seriously about what is going on.
